Overview
Josh blends his communications background with his legal practice, advising clients across the media regulatory landscape.
Josh assists Foster Garvey’s Communications, Telecom & Media team in advising a variety of clients on FCC regulations, including public television and radio stations. Before graduating from law school, Josh was the Associate Producer and Assistant Editor for a documentary film that aired nationally on PBS. During law school, he interned for the Federal Communications Commission's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau.
Josh has been practicing law since 2021 and holds a J.D. from William & Mary Law School, where he was a graduate fellow at the Center for Legal and Court Technology. He previously served as an intern for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and was a staff member at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
