Greenbaum partner Caroline Record authored an article on role of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in New Jersey community associations in Community Trends, the publication of the New Jersey chapter of the Community Associations Institute.  In the article, Caroline discusses the legal requirements governing ADR, how court decisions have shaped the types of disputes eligible for mediation, and why a principled, interest-based approach is often the most effective way to resolve conflicts between homeowners and associations.
