Greenbaum partner Jemi Goulian Lucey will be a session moderator at the “2026 Federal Practice Bench-Bar Symposium,” to be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The third annual bench-bar symposium will be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) and the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (AFBNJ) in cooperation with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, at the New Jersey Law Center and will also be available for online viewing.  

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Renée Marie Bumb will deliver the keynote address at this year’s bench-bar symposium, which will focus on numerous essential topics related to federal civil and criminal practice. Jemi will moderate a panel discussion addressing “AI and Other Thorny Substantive Issues in Federal Court.” Following a series of breakout sessions, the symposium will conclude with a roundtable of plenary judges and a networking cocktail reception. Jemi is a partner in the firm’s Employment Law, Litigation and Healthcare practices. She is a trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment, higher education, and complex litigation matters in state and federal court. She represents private and public entities, including institutions of higher learning, in employment discrimination and retaliation actions, professional negligence cases, Title IX claims, and general business disputes. Jemi currently serves as Second Vice President of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and is a past Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Federal Practice and Procedure Section.
