Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that our managing partner Barbara J. Koonz been selected as a NJBIZ 2026 “Leaders in Law” honoree.

According to NJBIZ, the publication’s selections for “Leaders in Law” recognize lawyers and general counsels “whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding.” Following an open nomination period, honorees are chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system.

In addition to her responsibilities as managing partner, Barbara focuses her practice on environmental and energy law, with an emphasis on state and federal environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, renewable and clean energy projects, resolution of agency enforcement matters, coastal and port-area projects, and A-901 solid waste licensing. She counsels clients including manufacturers, industrial businesses, solar energy developers, commercial property owners, equity investors, solid waste and recycling facilities, and large energy users including data centers, on a broad scope of transactional and regulatory issues.  

An event showcasing the legal professionals who received this year’s recognition is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at The Marigold in Somerset.
