Overview
Brian Zolecki joined Hill Ward Henderson in 2016 and is the Director of Accounting. In this role, Brian oversees the firm’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance while providing strategic insights to the firm’s management committee and practice group leaders.
Brian has over 29 years of experience in professional services firm administration, including 15 years in the legal industry, with a strong background in firm accounting, operations, reporting, pricing, and strategic planning. He previously worked for RSM, the 5th-largest accounting firm, as a Financial Reporting Manager, Director, and Regional CFO, and for two Chicago-based law firms before moving to the Tampa area.
Over the years, Brian has worked closely with firm leadership to improve profitability and growth. He has led several financial accounting system conversions and continually applies his expertise and technical skills to streamline financial processes and improve reporting and accountability.
Brian graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and also has SQL certification from DePaul University. Outside the office, Brian enjoys sunny Florida weather while playing golf and pickleball, visiting the area theme parks, traveling, and cheering on his favorite Chicago sports teams.
