Overview
Ann is a go-to resource for employers facing labor, employment, and human resources issues. With over 25 years of experience, she has successfully litigated on behalf of employers in a variety of forums, including state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and labor arbitration proceedings.
As a partner in Amundsen Davis’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Service Group, Ann advises businesses on a variety of workplace legal compliance issues and matters. These include discrimination and harassment claims, handling discharge and discipline, managing hiring and recruitment, drafting employment contracts and handbooks, and wage and hour violations. She also counsels management on how to stay compliant with federal, state, and local laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act and state law equivalents.
Outside of the office, Ann is a frequent author and speaker on employment law and provides management training for companies. In addition, she is an engaged member of her community who enjoys volunteering for causes she cares about.
