Overview
Luis approaches every matter with a practical understanding of risk, value, and strategy. An attentive listener, he believes that meaningful advocacy begins by understanding the people involved in a case—clients, witnesses, and judges—in addition to the facts. It also allows him to set realistic expectations that chart a path toward effective results. This grounded approach shapes the way he advises clients and guides cases from the outset.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to justice and the pursuit of truth, Luis brings deep state and federal public service experience to the firm's Transportation & Logistics Service Group. His background includes trial and litigation work in Cook County courtrooms, service with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and federal practice with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Known for his sharp legal analysis, ability to build cases and arguments from the ground up, and persuasive writing, Luis draws on experience including high-stakes prosecution and complex administrative litigation to advocate for his clients with integrity and purpose.
