Overview
Marissa is an experienced litigator who enjoys the challenge of finding the right solutions for her clients. She represents individuals, businesses, and organizations facing a wide range of personal and business-related claims. Her business practice includes helping employers with contact disputes and employee or policy issues. With a focus on general defense litigation, Marissa also handles employment claims, business tort issues, personal injury claims, insurance disputes, and civil and constitutional rights violations.
In addition, Marissa advises clients in the sports industry on matters such as athlete representation, agent and collective agreements, and issues arising from the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics. Her experience as a former NCAA Division I student-athlete and member of the Indiana University women’s soccer team taught her discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork—qualities that inform her commitment to excellence on behalf of her clients.
