Employment and Labor Issues for Contractors Halfway Through 2025
The first half of this year has seen what is likely the biggest shift in employment and labor policy by a new Presidential Administration in recent memory. Contractors have had to navigate changes that are generally applicable to all employers, plus additional nuances and risks specific to government contractors. These changes have only heightened the importance for contractors of identifying risks as early as possible to help ensure compliance and head off potential investigations and enforcement actions.
This Boot Camp will review:
- Department of Labor, EEOC, and other agency outlooks and futures
- Changes in nondiscrimination enforcement priorities at DOL and EEOC
- Prevailing wage (Service Contract Act, Davis-Bacon Act) requirements that have changed – plus some that have remained in place
- Major changes in Executive Orders and other rules specific to government contractors
