Compensation Issues for Government Contractors
Wiley’s Government Contracts team will provide an overview of the range of issues contractors deal with on what is often the most significant cost element in a government contract—compensation for personal services.
This Boot Camp will include an overview of the following topics:
- The types of compensation and the rules that govern each type, including FAR 31.205-6, Compensation for Personal Services;
- Ways the government can question the amount of a contractor’s compensation before the award of a competitive procurement;
- Ways the government can question the amount of a contractor’s compensation before or after reimbursing costs under a flexibly priced contract; and
- Other enforcement tools the government may use to implement policies unique to government contractors.
