2023 Federal Infrastructure Webinar Series: Following The Money: An Update On Federal Infrastructure Programs
Please join us for the inaugural episode of Wiley’s Federal Infrastructure Webinar series, a series of webinars that will bring together attorneys from across the firm to discuss current developments relating to the federal government’s ongoing, once-in-a-generation initiative to invest over $1 trillion to improve the nation’s infrastructure and more than $350 billion in high-technology R&D, product development, and manufacturing incentives. This legislation includes investments of $55 billion for water infrastructure, $110 billion for road and bridge repair, $89 billion for public transit, more than $50 billion for broadband, and over $50 billion in semiconductor capabilities.
The first installment in this series will provide an overview of key infrastructure programs and funding opportunities created by three key pieces of legislation: the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act. Our cross-practice team will provide an update on key developments and important deadlines for various award programs, including programs targeting broadband, clean energy, and semiconductor development. Subsequent installments will address key compliance issues, including wage and hour requirements, Build America, Buy America Act requirements, and general grant compliance.
