2023 Federal Infrastructure Webinar Series: "Build America, Buy America" And Other Domestic Source Requirements

Please join us for the third episode of Wiley’s Federal Infrastructure Webinar series, a series of webinars that will bring together attorneys from across the firm to discuss current developments relating to the federal government’s ongoing, once-in-a-generation initiative to invest over $1 trillion to improve the nation’s infrastructure and more than $350 billion in high-technology R&D, product development, and manufacturing incentives.

This session will cover the new Build America, Buy America provisions of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which requires use of domestic iron and steel, manufactured products, and “construction material”; the domestic preference provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act; and the national security “guardrails” imposed under the CHIPS Act. We will discuss the waiver process and authority and survey current implementing guidance and waivers by various agencies.
