Sarah counsels clients on environmental litigation and administrative proceedings and assists in guiding clients through complex environmental and product-regulatory issues, including under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She also advises clients on product stewardship and extended producer responsibility (EPR) and the transportation of hazardous materials and dangerous goods under U.S. and international regulations and standards.

- Counseled a company on HFC and energy-efficiency regulations, identifying compliance pathways and opportunities for federal and state advocacy to shape emerging rules and advance market growth.
- Represented trade associations and pesticide registrants in litigation concerning EPA’s obligations under the Endangered Species Act in connection with pesticide registrations.
- Counseled a major e-retailer regarding all aspects of hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation compliance.
- Conducted product‑specific analyses of state extended producer responsibility (EPR) regimes, including packaging and battery laws.
- Advised on NEPA requirements, including analysis of whether a proposed federal action triggered the need for an Environmental Impact Statement.
