Wiley Named NLJ Litigation Department of the Year Finalist

Wiley’s Litigation Practice has been named a 2025 finalist for Litigation Department of the Year by The National Law Journal in the “General Litigation” category.

The firm was shortlisted for this prestigious award in recognition of its work successfully guiding clients through multidisciplinary, high-stakes litigation, including:

• Securing a first-of-its-kind victory and millions of dollars in damages in a trademark infringement and counterfeiting lawsuit based on a massive international robocall scam;
• Persuading the U.S. Supreme Court to unanimously reject, in a precedent-setting case, an attempt by the state of Georgia to prosecute Wiley’s client a second time for the same offense; and
• Appealing and securing the reversal of a series of lower court rulings exempting certain foreign goods from antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from China.

The Litigation Practice is consistently ranked by Chambers USA and Benchmark Litigation, and was named an “Intimidating Opponent” by BTI Consulting in 2025.

The winners will be announced on November 5 at the National Law Journal Legal Awards event in Washington, D.C.
