Wiley Names Jennifer Giblin Co-Chair of Environment & Product Regulation Practice
Washington, DC – Wiley is pleased to announce that Jennifer A. Giblin has been named co-chair of the firm’s Environment & Product Regulation Practice, alongside Tracy Heinzman, effective January 1, 2026.
“Jen is a highly respected leader within the firm and across the environmental and product regulatory community,” said Managing Partner Peter D. Shields. “Together with Tracy, she further strengthens our ability to advise clients as enforcement priorities expand and regulatory expectations continue to evolve.”
Giblin is a nationally recognized environmental regulatory lawyer whose significant knowledge and experience have solidified her as a key adviser to clients confronting complex regulatory and enforcement challenges. With more than 30 years of private practice experience, she counsels companies on compliance under U.S. federal and state environmental laws, with a particular focus on waste management, extended producer responsibility requirements, site remediation, permitting under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, and issues facing the battery industry. Giblin also advises leading manufacturers and global companies with respect to U.S. and international regulations and standards regarding the transportation of hazardous materials/dangerous goods and environmental diligence and regulatory strategy for major U.S. acquisitions and divestitures, where regulatory oversight, technical complexity, and business risk intersect.
“Jen brings deep technical expertise, sound instincts for high-stakes regulatory matters, and a leadership approach that elevates the entire practice,” said Heinzman. “She has been a valued partner in how we support clients, and I am delighted to continue leading the practice with her.”
“I am honored to co-chair this exceptional team alongside Tracy,” Giblin said. “Tracy’s leadership has helped build a market-leading platform, and I look forward to partnering with her and our talented team to help clients manage risk and respond effectively in a dynamic regulatory environment.”
